Super Weekend Day 1 – Mt. Washington
Well we are on our super weekend as we are calling it, it’s Kyle, Darcy and Scott’s birthday weekend and we’re going full on west coast, snowboarding today, surfing tomorrow. I don’t like snow so I have just been wandering around a bit taking pictures, tomorrow I was going to take surfing lessons but a [...]

San Fran Road Trip!
Amy and I are thinking of doing a road trip down the coast in April or early May to San Francisco, basically mirroring the road trip I did on the Bandit, except this time it will be us and in the car which will make things faster for sure. The basic route is below, it [...]

Kelowna Cottage
For the long weekend we ended up going up to Kelowna for the weekend with some friends and the wiggles. It was a pretty good weekend I wish I did more fishing but the dock where we were was small and kind of sucked to get any of that done conveniently. That aside everyone went [...]

Porteau Cove Scuba
Last weekend I finally managed to get out and do a little of diving with my friend from work Dan Stovell. The weather was nice and sunny and it was quite warm out, the ocean good and calm so no struggling to get in or out of the water this time. The one thing I [...]

First Solo Sail, Fun Times!
Up until now I’ve done all my sailing with my buddy Kyle who is very experienced, but ever since he went and bought his own fancy 40 foot boat my dedicated Kyle time has been few and far between. It’s like a new girlfriend he just doesn’t have the time for me. Also up until [...]

A Clean Bottom Is A Fast Bottom
Last Sunday for my birthday we tried to take the boat out. I noticed right away that something was wrong. As we were pulling out of the slip I just couldn’t get any momentum. Without building up a nice little bit of wash over my rudder I basically have no steering. Usually I have steering [...]

5:30am is way to early to get up to do anything!
But 5:30am is the time we needed to get up in order to be on the charter’s boat and out fishing for 7am. Amazingly enough 5:30 while really early for me as I’m not a morning person and definitely a late night kinda guy, it wasn’t hard to get up. It’s always easier it seems [...]

Seattle Day 4 – Underground Tour, Chilling and Vons
This post will be a short one, as I want to do a much more in depth post later about the Underground Tour, I don’t think a quick write up will do it justice and I would like to explain what the pictures are actually about. Today started off as another lazy day, I kinda [...]

Seattle Day 3 – Seattle Aquarium, Naps, Tavolata and Juju
Well after last nights epic drink fest with Heidi, the day started off slow. Dave got up around 9 and wandered over to Top Pot to work on his blog, sip coffee, eat giant donuts, sight the fake Gary Busey, and allow me to sleep in. He makes a good vacation wife! After convincing Dave [...]
