The Oceans Are Freezing!


So global warming eh…. Sure doesn’t seem that way in the Pacific North West these days. This was taken around noon yesterday from a friend of mine balcony over looking Coal Harbour. As you as see there are some drifts forming up, but it won’t last. We’re supposed to have +7 weather this weekend, and all the snow will vanish. Hopefully I can finally get out on the boat and see how my small engine overhaul back in October went.

Edit: Upon closer inspection, its just snow settling on top of the water. With the kind of tides we have here I’d have a hard time believing the ocean would freeze here unless it was -30 for a couple months or something nutty….

    Dude, global warming can cool areas of the planet too. And it seems to have cooled van now, actually I guess all of canada! =)
